MK01 STOOL
Inspired by the iconic Juicy Salif Citrus-Squeezer from Phillippe Starck, the MK01 is made of wood and steel rods.
The appearance is simple and highlight the core shapes that inspired us, the point legs and the triangular base. The seat surface is connected to the legs via steel rods, giving a essential space betwen the two elements. so that brings a lightweight look and to emphasize the shape on the legs, the most symbolic part of the stool.

For prototyping we started with a 3D printed model as a proof of concept. The final prototype uses leftovers Plywood, MDF, Steel rods (slightly bent) and a 3D printed bracket for jointing the legs. The seat was secured using 2 part epoxi.
